Councillor Corinne Lamont
The Entrance Ward
A seasoned financial services professional, Councillor Corinne Lamont bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to the Central Coast Council. She began her career in her 20s as a young bank manager at a flagship Martin Place branch, overseeing a team of 60 and handling substantial daily transactions.
In her 30s, she shifted her focus to personal finance as a certified financial planner and Central Coast mortgage broker. For the past 15 years, she has served as Chief Financial Officer for her family’s education technology business, navigating complex financial and economic data.
Cr Lamont is also a dedicated community advocate, leading the Wamberal Beach Save Our Sand (SOS) campaign to prevent the construction of a vertical seawall along the iconic Wamberal Beach.
Her financial acumen and grassroots experience position her uniquely to champion The Entrance ward, where she aims to enhance local services through strategic grant applications and budget management.
