A lifelong resident of the Central Coast, Cr Trent McWaide brings a deep-rooted understanding of the community to his role as Councillor.
With strong local ties, and a commitment to the region's future Cr McWaide strongly advocates a back-to-basics approach with cohesive governance.
In addition to his current role with the Council, Cr McWaide is actively involved in the local community, including volunteer work with the Salvation Army's Red Sheild Appeal.
This involvement reflects a passion for service and a hands-on approach to supporting local initiatives that make a difference. As a local business owner, Cr McWaide will also strongly advocate for small businesses on the Central Coast in supporting economic growth. This dual experience in both public service and business along with his experience as a Police Officer for a decade provides a unique perspective on balancing community needs with sustainable development.
Cr McWaide believes in fostering strong relationships within Council and advocating for real leadership to build a prosperous future for the region.
