The Central Coast Council is represented by 15 Councillors who were elected for a 4-year term, until September 2028.
A Councillor’s role as an elected representative is to provide an essential link between the community and Council. Councillors must work as a team to make decisions and policies that guide the activities of the council.

Have your say on proposed Woy Woy intersection upgradeCouncil newsCentral Coast Council is inviting the community to have their say on proposed upgrades to the Ocean Beach Road and Rawson Road intersection in Woy Woy.The intersection is one of the busiest on the Peninsula, used daily by motorists, cyclists and pedestrians and has long been identified as a key congestion point.The upgrade would replace the existing single-lane roundabout intersection with traffic lights, along with pedestrian crossing phases on all four sides and connecting paths.

Sportsfield upgrades at Taylor Park, The EntranceCouncil newsTaylor Park located at Park Street, The Entrance is set for a major upgrade, with works beginning June 2026 to improve the quality, performance and usability of the sportsfield for local sport, training and community use.The works include: installation of new drainage and irrigation infrastructureregrading of the playing surfaceinstallation of sportsfield lightingDrainage and irrigation upgrades will improve turf health year-round, support faster recovery from wear and enable quicker reopening after wet weather, while regrading will enhance the playing surface and overall field resilience and user experience.
