The Central Coast Council is represented by 15 Councillors who were elected for a 4-year term, until September 2028.
A Councillor’s role as an elected representative is to provide an essential link between the community and Council. Councillors must work as a team to make decisions and policies that guide the activities of the council.

Local community votes to move Buff Point Oval Dog ParkCouncil newsCommunity feedback has helped shape the future of the fenced off-leash dog park at Buff Point Oval, with the majority of voters favouring a relocation to Edgewater Park on Narambi Road. The new location will better meet overall community needs, offering improved access to public toilets, space for dogs to run and play, improved accessibility with concrete pathways leading to the off-leash area and a more welcoming area with natural shade and vegetation for dog owners to connect and enjoy the outdoors.
